A Black Eyed Peas Reunion Is Happening
Will.i.am confirms that a Black Eyed Peas reunion is definitely on the cards.

This sounds like (bad) fan fiction to me, but a Brazilian website is claiming that Nicole Scherzinger has been chosen to replace Fergie in The Black Eyed Peas. Do they have any receipts? No. There’s vague mention of “a reliable source,” but that’s about it. Strangely, this wouldn’t be the worst idea. The “Right There” diva has had no luck launching a viable solo career despite racking up a string of international hits and recording multiple (scrapped) albums. It would also give Fergie a chance to concentrate on her forever-delayed sophomore era.

But Will.i.am has been vocal about The Black Eyed Peas being a family unit. He even expressed regret that the band ever went on hiatus in a recent interview. “There will be a Black Eyed Peas reunion,” he told Roman Kemp on Capital’s Evening Show in April last year. “It just, it breaks my heart that I even have to say that because really we should just… we should just always have been doing Black Eyed Peas actually.” Perhaps Nicole should try rebooting The Pussycat Dolls instead? I would be so here for that.
