Songwriting Addict Ed Sheeran Also Wrote On New James Blunt Album
James Blunt, of “You’re Beautiful” infamy, completely ~nailed it~ when he announced his album back in December:
If you thought 2016 was bad – I'm releasing an album in 2017.
— James Blunt (@JamesBlunt) December 13, 2016
And that alone is enough to make you root for him on his fifth album. Not that you’ll need to, because he nabbed Ed Sheeran for the LP, along with credits from Ryan Tedder and Stephan Moccio.
The Sheeran connection is more than just a match made in guy-with-guitar heaven, of course; they’re battle brothers. That new scar on Ed’s face was the result of an odd mishap at a party when Princess Beatrice pretended to knight Blunt with a sword.
The Afterlove is out March 24, and Sheeran’s third LP Divide drops March 3.
