David Bowie Stamps Coming In March
To commemorate what would have been David Bowie‘s 70th year on this particular planet, the Royal Mail in the UK will issue a set of 10 postage stamps featuring various album covers by and photos of the beloved musician on March 14. The LP artwork spans Bowie’s many eras, and includes Hunky Dory, Aladdin Sane, Heroes, Let’s Dance, Earthling and his final album, the Grammy-nominated Blackstar.
Folks outside of the UK can pre-order the stamps (there are different packages and prices) through the official Royal Mail site, but it’s a bit of a pain in the arse going through the process of registering. Still, Bowie stamps — pretty rockin’.
