Pop Perspective: Ed Sheeran's "Shape Of You"
We rate and review Ed Sheeran's new singles "Shape Of You" and "Castle On The Hill."

Ed Sheeran gave a sneak peek into his upcoming “Shape of You” video, out tomorrow (January 30). Directed by Jason Koenig (Macklemore and Ryan LewisPlain White T’s), the visual has the Divide singer-songwriter stepping into the boxing ring. In one photo, he appears shirtless with his hands wrapped. In another, he takes a boxing stance as if doing his best Rocky impression.

Coincidentally, the “Shape of You” video wouldn’t be the first time that Ed has shown an appreciation for the sport. During the 2014 Grammy Awards, he wore his grandfather William Murray Sheeran‘s tie, which had boxing gloves embroidered on. After being bullied in school, William learned to box as a kid and went on to become director of the British Boxing Board of Control.
