Phoebe Ryan Preps New Single “Dark Side”
EDIT: The post has been updated with the full song.
2016 was a massive year for Phoebe Ryan. The rising pop star released a string of catchy singles (“Chronic,” “Boyz N Poizn” and “Dollar Bill”) and landed her first top 20 hit as the voice of The Chainsmokers’ “All We Know.” She was also busy behind the scenes — penning “Man On The Moon” for Britney Spears and “The Key” for The Knocks. The 26-year-old is ready to take things to the next level in 2017 and she’s getting off to an early start with new single, “Dark Side,” which arrives on Friday (February 3).
It looks like “Dark Side” will replace “Be Real” as the first single from Phoebe’s debut LP. “It’s honestly still such a work in progress and I know everyone is probably like, ‘What is going on?’ It’s been like forever,” she says of the album in an interview with Hollywire TV. “It really is. I’m trying to be so careful with everything.” Part of the problem is that she has too many songs to choose from. “There’s so many, but I know which are the standout songs.” No doubt, “Dark Side” is one of them.
