Taylor Swift Performs “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” For The First Time: Watch
With Super Bowl performances, more is more. But Taylor Swift took the opposite approach last night (February 4) when she helped kick off Super Bowl LI weekend in Houston — during one crucial song, at least.
While headlining AT&T’s Super Saturday Night, what she says might be her only show of 2017. Taylor gave the first live performance of the Fifty Shades Darker track “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.” Singing partner Zayn wasn’t there, and neither was the studio version‘s bombast. Instead, Taylor opted to sing a stripped-down, acoustic version, further drawing attention to how this movie theme is more so about star-crossed lovers than S&M.
Super Bowl LI, featuring Lady Gaga as its halftime performer, kicks off at 6:30 p.m. EST. For now, watch “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” get its live debut below.
