Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Lin-Manuel Miranda To Perform The Oscars
A slew of Oscar nominees will perform at this year’s ceremony.
Justin Timberlake will, of course, be singing “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” the Trolls single that became the most streamed song of last year. John Legend, and not co-stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, is set to perform “Audition” and “City of Stars” from La La Land, which picked up seven Golden Globes.
Lin-Manuel Miranda will sing “How Far I’ll Go,” the song he wrote for Disney’s Moana, with 16-year-old star Auli’i Cravalho instead of Alessia Cara as heard in the end credits. And Sting will perform “The Empty Chair” from Jim: The James Foley Story, a documentary about a journalist captured and beheaded by ISIS.
The Oscars airs February 26 on ABC. See a few reaction tweets from the featured performers below.
