Maren Morris Performs On 'SNL' (Twice)
Maren Morris makes an impressive 'Saturday Night Live' debut.

Any doubts that Maren Morris is a superstar-in-the-making were dispelled when she teamed up with Alicia Keys for a show-stopping rendition of “Once” at the Grammys. It was a huge night for her all around, winning Best Country Solo Performance for “My Church.” The 26-year-old is hoping to capitalize on that momentum by rolling out a new single. I would have thought “Once” was a no-brainer with its crossover-friendly R&B influences, but she’s opting for the more traditional “I Could Use A Love Song.”

And that’s ok too. Like Keith Urban’s “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” Maren’s latest harks back to a time in country music when songs examined matters of the heart over simple arrangements. “I could use a love song that takes me back, just like that when it comes on,” she croons. “To a time when I wouldn’t roll my eyes at a guy and a girl who make it work in a world.” The “80’s Mercedes” singer sure knows how to write a relatable anthem! Listen to her latest below and try to catch her on tour. (Tickets here).
