Iggy Azalea Is Still Alive As New Twerking Video Proves
To recap: Iggy Azalea’s sophomore LP, Digital Distortion, has been on ice for two years at this point and she continues to tell fibs about the rollout. Take the album’s lead single, which was supposed to arrive in January and feature a female vocalist. Well, it’s almost March and the song is still MIA. It’s not all doom and gloom, however. A couple of new tracks leaked earlier this month and sounded very promising. The rapper also posed for a pic in front of her purported album cover (am I clutching at straws?) and performed in Hong Kong over the weekend.
And then there’s the fact that Australia’s gift to hip-hop has starting using social media again. Iggy posted a twerk work-out video a couple of weeks ago and followed that up with another gem today (February 28). Interestingly, this one tagged director Lil Internet (he helmed Beyonce’s brilliant “No Angel” clip), so the “Team” hitmaker could be working on a new visual.
