Meghan Trainor's "I'm A Lady" Is A Cute Bop
Meghan Trainor bounces back with catchy 'Smurfs' single "I'm A Lady."

Meghan Trainor returned to the pop scene last week with Smurfs anthem, “I’m A Lady.” Produced by The Monsters and the Strangerz, the cute bop falls somewhere between the retro-pop of Title and the feisty, more contemporary sound of the Thank You era. “I don’t look like them (I ain’t worried about it), I don’t talk like them (I ain’t worried about it),” the 23-year-old declares over a percussion-heavy arrangement. “I know I’m a gem (I ain’t worried about it), I ain’t worried about it ’cause I’m a lady.” That’s followed by a massive drop.

The video arrives today (March 3) and it finds Meghan serving serious looks. She begins the clip wearing a black body suit with a diamond-studded collar and then rocks a sporty ensemble complete with shoulder pads, face paint and a pink tutu. From there, the pop star slips into sexy corporate attire and then morphs into a spoiled princess. The message is clear. Women can wear what they want and do what they want. As for the grand finale? Well, the “No” diva busts out some fancy choreography. Watch her in action up top.
