Starley's Viral Hit "Call On Me"
Starley has a global hit on her hands thanks to a remix of "Call On Me."

“Fresh Eyes” isn’t Andy Grammer’s highest-charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 (that honor belongs to 2014 smash “Honey, I’m Good”), but it’s still shaping up to be his biggest song by some margin. Take a look at the stats. The first taste of the crooner’s third LP has racked up a whopping 160 million Spotify streams and 20 million cumulative YouTube views. Those numbers will skyrocket, no doubt, with the arrival of a killer dance remix courtesy of Melbourne DJ, Ryan Riback.

Ryan is currently enjoying a global hit of his own thanks to a remix of Starley’s “Call On Me.” The original was released midway through last year with little fanfare, but exploded when his remix went viral. The song is now shooting up the Billboard Hot 100 and has 230 million Spotify streams to its credit. He works similar magic on Andy’s “Fresh Eyes,” gently steering it into club territory before ramping up the BPM and implementing a massive drop. It’s not easy to transform a mid-tempo bop into a banger but this works perfectly. Listen below.
