Iggy Azalea Explains Album Delay
Iggy Azalea explains why her album has been on ice for two years.

It looks like things are finally coming together for Iggy Azalea. The rapper released her first new track of 2017, a collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert called “Can’t Lose,” as part of Def Jam’s Direct Deposit Vol. 2 mixtape and promised to roll out more music this month via Twitter. “I know its been a long wait for my album — SORRY!,” the Aussie hitmaker declared. “I hope my fans understand my life has been filled with so many personal changes. I felt it was important I made some creative changes too — I needed my album to reflect where my head’s at in 2017.”

This is where it got really interesting for long-suffering fans. “I really appreciate the patience & I’m so excited for all the new music, new visuals, album preorder dates etc,” Iggy continued. And then, the juicy bit: “I’ll be releasing throughout the month of March. Thanks for your support.” It looks like she’s keeping that promise. The 26-year-old posted a series of eye-popping promo pics on Instagram with the caption “#MoBounce.” That has been interpreted as being a single title by many, but we’ll wait for the official announcement.

In the meantime, check out Iggy’s glorious new pics up top and check out “Can’t Lose” below. It’s the first confirmed track to appear on her long-delayed sophomore LP, Digital Distortion.
