Imagine Dragons have another hit on their hands with “Believer.” A throwback to the powerful stadium rock of their mega-selling debut, the lead single from the band’s third LP is already top 5 at alternative radio and top 10 on iTunes. When you factor in the sure-to-go-viral video, the catchy track should make a huge jump on the Billboard Hot 100 next week. (It’s currently sitting at number 43). Directed by Matt Eastin, the clip stars Dolph Lundgren and is a homage of sorts to ’80s action films.

“‘Believer’ is about finding a place of peace and self-confidence,” frontman Dan Reynolds reveals. “The video depicts a man facing his inner self, the toughest critic of all, while paying homage to some of the classic movies we grew up with.” The colorful extravaganza finds Dan sparring against Dolph in a video game-like world. There’s a lot of action and a little blood, but the overall tone is more uplifting than gritty. Watch up top.
