Jonas Blue Interview
We speak to Jonas Blue about his hit cover and new single "Perfect Strangers."

It looks like Sabrina Carpenter is already cooking up new music. The 17-year-old recently hit the studio with UK producer Jonas Blue, who landed global hits with “Fast Car” and “Perfect Strangers.” He shared a pic from their session with the caption: “Amazing day in the studio with this one!” The collaboration makes sense. After dabbling in country and acoustic, singer/songwriter-pop, The Girl Meets World actress embraced a bolder sound on last year’s appropriately-titled EVOLution LP and landed her biggest hit to date.

Written by Steve Mac and Priscilla Renea, “Thumbs” is one of the catchiest tunes on pop radio. It grabs your attention with the opening strings and holds it with oddball lyrics and a monstrous chorus. “Somewhere in the world they think they’re working for themselves, they get up everyday to go to work for someone else,” Sabrina muses. “And somebody works for them and so they think they got it made, but they’re all just working to get paid the very same.” A pop star and a philosopher! See her pic with Jonas Blue below.

Amazing day in the studio with this one! 🖤😊
