Carlos Santana incurred the wrath of the Bey Hive after the Grammys when he said that Beyonce is “not a singer” in comparison to Adele. The guitar legend immediately apologized, saying the comment was taken out of context. He now wants to make the situation right by setting up a mega-star collaboration with the divas. “Not one is more important than the other, they’re both supremely important,” the 69-year-old told Singapore’s Strait Times. “Their music and my music serve a purpose, to bring unity and harmony.”

His idea? “I don’t think it’s impossible for us to go into the studio and create some beautiful music.” Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s on the cards any time soon given Beyonce’s pregnancy and general intolerance for anyone that throws shade in her direction. He could start a support group with Keri Hilson and Keyshia Cole, or just give Adele a call. A collaboration with Santana would actually be a nice fit for her soulful, easy listening sound.
