Demi Lovato Confirms Club Collaboration With Cheat Codes

Cheat Codes debuted a new track at a show over the weekend and fans immediately suspected Demi Lovato as the unidentified female vocalist. Well, it’s now official. She revealed the cover of “No Promises” on Instagram this morning and the trio then shared the release date (March 31). From the snippet, it sounds like a hit with the diva showing off her range, before a massive drop. It’s a crowded market for pop/club collaborations at the moment (Selena Gomez & Kygo, Alessia Cara & Zedd, Coldplay & The Chainsmokers etc.), so it will be interesting to see how the track holds up in the face of fierce competition.

Who are Cheat Codes? Well, they first caught our attention in 2015 with tracks like “Visions.” Late last year, the guys teamed up with David Guetta and Robin Schultz for the gloriously-upbeat, “Shed a Light.” A radio hit would elevate the Los Angeles-based act to the next level, so this is a smart move for them. It also gives Lovatics something to listen to until the arrival of D6. Check out a snippet of the track below.
