Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Lorde & More To Perform At Glastonbury
Glastonbury may be a rock institution, but the just-announced 2017 lineup features some major pop acts.
Off the success of third album Divide, Ed Sheeran is headlining alongside rock titans Radiohead and Foo Fighters. “Chained to the Rhythm” star Katy Perry is also confirmed to perform, while Lorde will appear just days after releasing sophomore LP Melodrama. Other notable performers include Chic, the Jacksons, Barry Gibb, Major Lazer, Solange, Goldfrapp, Emile Sande, the xx, HAIM, Craig David, Sampha and Tove Lo.
While more acts will be announced soon, this year’s festival, June 21 – 25, is already a far cry from when Noel Gallagher of Oasis said featuring a hip-hop act like Jay Z was “wrong.” See the acts that Glastonbury has announced so far below.
