Halsey Reveals The Cover Of New Single, “Now Or Never”

The first taste of Halsey’s elaborately-titled sophomore LP, hopeless fountain kingdom, arrives tomorrow (April 4). The “New Americana” singer shared the cover of “Now Or Never” — a burnt tarot card — on Instagram this morning and it didn’t take long for a preview to arrive online. “Baby gonna love me now, now, now, now, now, now, now or never,” the 22-year-old sings on the repetitive, but undeniable catchy chorus. “I want you to hold me down, down, down, down, down, down, down forever. You know I wanna keep you around now and forever.”

“Now Or Never” finds Halsey deep in her feelings, which fits in with the album being heavily inspired by Romeo & Juliet. “The whole reason you make a record is to figure stuff out about yourself,” she told Rolling Stone. “I had killed off a version of myself just so we could make our love work.” In the same interview, the “Closer” chart-topper also promised to deliver some radio-ready bops. “I am more than capable of writing radio music,” she said. “Now Or Never” proves her point.
