Summer is already here in the historic streets of Miami, in this 'Fate of the Furious' video.

While Fifth Harmony has been all “Miss Movin’ On” since Camila Cabello‘s departureJohn Mayer isn’t standing for the group’s current status.

Last night (April 4), he hopped on Instagram Live and sat at the piano to illustrate why 5H without Camila doesn’t work — why it needs that fifth harmony. He even showed what would happen musically if he, as the group suggested, answered to the #BeThe5thChallenge.

“If you really wanted to add me,” he says, “you get this, and it’s one too many notes. Point being, hi Camila.”

This came despite how, several months ago he made his stan status clear by tweeting “Lauren [Jauregui] feels like the next to be a star” while high.

John won’t likely hear from his current fave girl group about this. Fifth Harmony has been working on its follow-up to 7/27, while producer-songwriter Ryan Tedder was just in the studio with Camila, basking in “moments of musical genius.” But does John have a point? Watch him below and decide for yourself.
