Astrid S Joins The Vamps & Matoma On Streaming Smash “All Night”

Astrid S is the busiest woman in pop. In the space of a week, the Norwegian singer has dropped an impeccable single of her own (“Bloodstream”), released a remix of recent hit “Breathe” and joined The Vamps & Matoma for a new, even catchier version of “All Night.” Not that they needed her help. The first taste of the band’s third LP has already racked up 190 million streams on Spotify and is shaping up to be their biggest international hit since 2014 Demi Lovato collaboration, “Somebody To You.”

The prolific pop diva is the perfect fit for the song’s sugary, high-pitched electronic soundscape. “I’m never gonna find my way if I don’t learn to let go,” Astrid coos on her verse. “The past is the past, today is today and there’s things I can’t control.” She then adds a little Scandinavian longing to the anthem: “The circles underneath my eyes tell the truth I’ve been trying to hide, I’ve been waiting for you way too long. Won’t you come and take me home?” It’s rare for a remix to compliment the original in such an effortless and organic way. Listen below.
