Lady Gaga Debuts "The Cure" At Coachella
New era? Lady Gaga debuted a new single called "The Cure" at Coachella.

It’s been a huge week for Lady Gaga. The 31-year-old made her Coachella debut on Saturday night (April 15), dropped a new single called “The Cure” on Sunday and shared the first still from the upcoming remake of A Star Is Born on Instagram this morning. “I am so excited to star in my first movie alongside someone I’m so lucky to call my friend,” she said of co-star Bradley Cooper. “I always wanted to be an actress on the big screen. The story of ‘A Star is Born’ is so special and I’m so grateful to Bradley for making my dream come true.”

Mother Monster also revealed that her character is called Ally. Hollywood execs have been toying with another remake of A Star Is Born for several years. The film was originally envisioned as a vehicle for Beyonce, but she pulled out when director Clint Eastwood left the project. From the pic, it looks like Gaga plays a grungy rocker, which is a change from previous incarnations of the movie. (The character was previously on Broadway and a jazz singer). See the hitmaker’s post below.
