9 Shirtless Outtakes From Shawn Mendes’ ‘L’Uomo Vogue’ Shoot

Shawn Mendes showed off his rippling six pack in a trio of shirtless photo shoots last year, starting with a high-fashion spread in L’Uomo Vogue. (The others appear in Flaunt and Hero). A series of unused pics found their way online today (April 25) and they are sure to make the 18-year-old’s devoted fanbase all warm and fuzzy inside. There are a couple of dapper black-and-white snaps of the heartthrob in a suit and a batch of pictures that show off his abs. You can check out the original photo shoot here.
Apart from looking good without a shirt, Shawn has just released a repackage of his chart-topping Illuminate LP. It features a new single called “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” which dutifully reached number one on iTunes. Time will tell if the catchy track, which finds the Canadian in a sexy mood, can follow “Treat You Better” and “Mercy” into the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.
