Niall Horan Announces New Single “Slow Hands”

Here’s some good news for restless Directioners. Niall Horan will release his second single on Thursday (May 4). The follow-up to “This Town” is called “Slow Hands” and it has a casual, earthy cover that finds the 23-year-old looking ruggedly handsome in a white t-shirt. That’s all I know about the song at this point, but it looks like the Brit is sticking with the stripped-back, folk sound of his debut single. After all that’s the vibe he’s going for on his much-anticipated debut LP.

Niall listed Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and Crosby, Stills and Nash as major influences in an interview with Entertainment Weekly and described the opus as having a “folk-with-pop feel to it.” The project got off to a promising enough start with “This Town,” which peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified platinum. That’s not too bad considering how different it is from his 1D output and the fact that it never got a video. (There were lyric and live videos, however).

Filming a little something for ya !
