Janet Jackson Delays Her World Tour
Janet Jackson is delaying her world tour until 2017 in order to start a family.

Last year, Janet Jackson announced that she was delaying her world tour in order to stay a family. The 50-year-old promise to resume it in 2017, but fans were a little skeptical. Well, the pop icon kept her word. She announced the continuation of her live extravaganza, now called The State Of The World Tour, in a cute live video. The new mom almost spoke about her bundle of joy, her break-up from billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana and the weight she gained during pregnancy.

“Hey you guys,” Janet began the video. “It’s me, Jan, just in case you don’t recognize me since I have put on a few since I had the baby.” Her brother then rudely interjected, “More than a few,” but the hitmaker refused to take the bait. “Can you please be quiet, Randy?” she deadpanned. “Nobody’s talking to you. Thank you.” Janet then spoke about baby Eissa. “I thank God for him,” she gushed. “He is so healthy, so beautiful, so sweet, so loving. Such a healthy baby.” As for her marriage? “I separated from my husband, we are in court and the rest is in God’s hands.”

The “Make Me” diva then turned her attention to music, announcing that her tour will resume in Lafayette, Louisiana on September 7. “It’s not about politics, it’s about people, the world, relationships and just… love,” she said of the tour’s new name. “I want to thank you guys, for your patience, for all of your support throughout the years,” Janet concluded.
