Noah Cyrus Was Inspired By 'Joanne'
Noah Cyrus opens up about the influence of Lady Gaga's new LP in 'V' magazine.

Noah Cyrus has never been to prom, as Idolator recently learned. Yet in her “Stay Together” video, she is every teen. While singing of smoking cigarettes and shattering her phone on the cement, Noah and her friends go cruising. They hang out at her school’s track and run through the sprinklers. They make late-night convenience store runs for donuts and ice cream. It’s the perfect summer day for a high schooler.

“When I listen to it, it brings me back to the very first time I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m going to sneak out and I’m going to stay all night and not worry about anything,'” Noah said about this NC-17 single. “And that’s where it really gets all of its attitude, I think. It’s from that young angst of wanting to go out and have the best time with your friends and people who you love.”
