BTS Brings 'The Wings Tour' To LA: Review
BTS is the hottest act in K-Pop. We review their dazzling 'Wings Tour.'

BTS will take another step towards global domination when they attend the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 21. It will be the 7-member group’s first red carpet appearance in the US and they have a fairly good chance of walking away with an award. The K-Pop Gods are nominated for Top Social Artist and they are the clear frontrunners. After all, the “Not Today” hitmakers have spent a whopping 23 weeks at number 1 on Billboard’s Social 50 chart — more than superstars like Miley Cyrus and Rihanna.

Rap Monster & Co.’s forward-thinking mix of hip-hop and club beats has transcended the traditional borders of K-Pop, winning them a massive global following. Their sophomore LP, Wings, sold over a million copies around the world and debuted at number 26 on the Billboard 200. They also made chart history earlier this year when “Spring Day” cracked the top 10 on the US iTunes download chart. And then there’s the fact that BTS sold out an American tour in minutes. Recognition at the Billboard Music Awards seems to be the logical next step.
