Anne-Marie & Ed Sheeran Duet On An Acoustic Version Of “Ciao Adios”
Well, this is cute! Rising British pop star Anne-Marie teams up with Ed Sheeran for an acoustic version of her current single, “Ciao Adios.” The pair performed the sing-along backstage at a concert and appear to have a great time putting a fresh spin on the fiery break-up anthem. “It was the best thing ever in the world touring with this human,” the 25-year-old wrote on YouTube. “Here’s a little something we did in the dressing rooms just before the show.” Perhaps it’s time for the “Shape Of You” chart-topper to write Anne-Marie a hit.
Not that she needs much help. The diva conquered the charts everywhere but America with 2016 bop “Alarm.” The banger, which sounded like a lost gem from Rihanna’s Unapologetic album, was huge in Europe and came perilously close to cracking the Billboard Hot 100. That lead to a feature on Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye,” which ranks as one of the biggest songs of 2017 — racking up a whopping 478 million Spotify streams.
