Bebe Rexha Unveils The Cover Of Lil Wayne-Assisted Single “The Way I Are”

Bebe Rexha delivers six superior pop anthems on 'All Your Fault Pt. 1.'

Shit happens. Earlier today (May 12), Bebe Rexha’s “The Way I Are” surfaced online a week before its May 19 release date. “Whoever leaked my new single… not cool,” the rising pop star tweeted. “The artwork and a snippet were only suppose to come out today.” The slinky bop was quickly erased from the interwebs and she simply continued with the planned rollout. The first step is unveiling the cute and colorful cover art (below), which finds the 27-year-old looking typically flawless against a cotton-candy pink background.

Bebe has already spilled a little tea about “The Way I Are,” which is the first taste of All Your Fault Pt. 2 (the second half of her debut album). For starters, it interpolates a Whitney Houston classic. “So I have a single coming off of [AYF] called ‘The Way I Are’ featuring Lil Wayne and it’s… taken from the Whitney Houston song ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody,'” Bebe revealed in a recent interview. “So the hook is ‘I just wanna dance with somebody, I just wanna dance with somebody.’ So it’s really cool and Wayne does a crazy verse on it.” It’s extremely catchy and well worth waiting another week for.

Next Friday. 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 #TheWayIAre #DanceWithSomebody
