Katy Perry Performs "Swish Swish" On 'SNL'
Katy Perry brought "Swish Swish" and "Bon Appetit" to 'SNL.' Watch her performances.

The promo never ends for Katy Perry. After going viral with wacky performances of “Swish Swish” and “Bon Appetit” on Saturday Night Live, the pop star treated fans to an impromptu yoga class. This morning (May 22), she rolls out a new promo video for Witness. The aim, I think, is to give a little context to an era that has bounced from woke-pop anthems to explicit bangers without much explanation. “Can you see me? I mean I know you can see me, but can you really see me?” she begins the intimate video.

“My name is Katheryn Hudson,” she continues, looking typically gorgeous in a peach blouse. “I’m vulnerable and strong. I’m a woman, an artist. I’m liberated, goofy and I’m not always right. I’m Katy Perry and I’m not just one thing.” The tone falls somewhere between a Real Housewives intro and a beauty commercial, but the sentiment is very much appreciated. It also hints at their being hidden depths, or at least some method to the (very enjoyable) madness of Witness, which arrives on June 9. Get to know the superstar a little better up top and watch her join backpack boy for a little swish swish-ing below.
