Camila's ''Crying In The Club'' Review
The former Fifth Harmony member pulls all the stops for her solo debut single.

The promo train just won’t let up for Camila Cabello as the former Fifth Harmony songstress continues to push her debut solo single, “Crying in the Club.” After a slew of appearances across the United States, the “Bad Things” collaborator sailed across the pond for an explosive performance on Britain’s Got Talent. Unlike her performance at the Billboard Music Awards, Cabello took the stage without a bevy of backup dancers. Instead, she performed the tropical track on her own in front of a series of brilliant pyrotechnics that burnt with the heat of a thousand fires. It was an impactful performance that featured strong vocals and again opened with a snippet of Cabello’s second promo-single, the introspective “I Have Questions.” The “Work from Home” diva cheekily tweeted that she was channeling Avatar the Last Airbender after the fire-hot performance.

The appearance will hopefully give “Crying in the Club” a bit of a push on the charts before Fifth Harmony release their first post-Camila single “Down” on Friday (June 2). Though she’s already clocked in a couple high-profile performances of the track, the “Genie in a Bottle”-sampling summer bop has stalled outside of the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. With a feature from Gucci Mane, the ladies of 5H are clearly gearing up for another sexy anthem, and it would be nice to see them sharing the charts with their former group mate. As Camila gears up to release her debut solo album The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving. this fall she’s amping up the promo slots that include an ad campaign with Guess. Check out her latest performance below.
