Chris Martin Dancing To Shakira’s “Me Enamore” Will Make You Smile
Well, here’s a little something to put a smile on your face. Chris Martin shows off some serious dad moves while dancing to Shakira’s “Me Enamore” in an Instagram video. The Coldplay frontman fires up the banger on his phone and twirls along, waiting for a lyric that translates as “I like that beard.” “She’s talking about me, I think,” he quips. The reason for the impromptu sing-along? “We are very happy to tell you that Shakira will be joining the line up for [the Global Citizen concert in] Hamburg on July 6 with a special set,” Chris wrote in the caption.
The Brit then shared his favorite tracks at the moment. They are “Me Enamore,” London Grammar’s “Big Picture,” Stromae’s “Formidable” and Lana Del Rey’s “Love.” It’s nice of Chris to give Shakira’s new single a shoutout. It has been a massive hit across Latin America and Europe, but the language barrier has hampered its chances in the US. (It seems a “Despacito”-like crossover only happens once every decade or so). Perhaps she can release an English version and snatch a hit? Either that or release “When A Woman” as the next single from the very, very good El Dorado.
