Justin Bieber jumps on the remix of Luis Fonsi's chart-conquering "Despacito."

On Monday (June 12), Puerto Rican crooner Luis Fonsi performed his single “Despacito” on The Late SHow With Conan O’Brien, further minting the track’s sweeping international success. Dressed in leather and surrounded by backup dancers striking sensual poses, the hitmaker brought his unique romantic stylings to the late-night show despite the absence of the featured artist Daddy Yankee.

The track has had a meteoric rise in recent weeks, claiming the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks in large part to a remix by none other than Justin Bieber. This is the fifth week in a row that “Despacito” has led the pack. Although the Biebs was quick to make his mark on the Latin hit, he has yet to actually learn the song. This led to a cringe-worthy performance at 1OAK in New York last month when he mumbled “blah blah blah” during the chorus.

And it seems Justin hasn’t learned his lesson. The 23-year-old admitted that he still doesn’t know the lyrics at the Summerburst Festival over the weekend, which prompted one angry festivalgoer to hurl a water bottle at the “Love Yourself” singer. Watch Luis do the song right up top.
