George Ezra's "Budapest" Is A Must Listen
After conquering the UK, George Ezra is bringing "Budapest" to the States.

George Ezra was arguably the breakout star of 2014/2015 thanks to global hits “Budapest” and “Blame It On Me.” Those songs propelled his debut LP, Wanted On Voyage, to number one in the UK — selling more than 1.2 million copies at home. How do you back that up? By now worrying about it. At all. That’s the theme of the Brit’s new single, “Don’t Matter Now” — a lazy ode to checking out. “Sometimes you need to be alone, it don’t matter now,” he sings in his trademark baritone. “Shut the door, unplug the phone. It don’t matter now.”

“I had to work out what I wanted the album to be about,” George told Annie Mac. “What it is you’re going into and why you’re doing it. The first trip I did was a month in Barcelona, which was pretty amazing. I’ve always loved it, I was like, ‘let’s go back.’ I rented a bedroom off a stranger online.” The trip did him wonders. “I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time now that I’m back on tour… it’s not very cool to be happy. I’m going to bring it back!” You can stream the hitmaker’s new track below from midnight (ET).
