Shawn Mendes Performs “There’s Nothin’ Holding Me Back” On ‘Fallon’
Shawn Mendes has another hit on his hands. The 18-year-old is currently climbing the Billboard Hot 100 with “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” a new track from the deluxe edition of Illuminate, and it’s destined to soar a lot higher after his accomplished performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Canadian’s musicality was on full display as he belted out the dance-y pop/rock anthem (it’s an unusual mix) while playing guitar with his band. If you needed a reminder that there’s more to him than abs, here’s proof.
The hitmaker, who recently walked the runway at the Emporio Armani fashion show during Milan Men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018, is in the middle of a massive world tour. With the European leg successfully behind him, Shawn is taking a well-deserved break before kicking off the North American leg of the Illuminate Tour on July 6 in Portland, Oregon.
