Will Ferrell Reveals Why Mariah Carey Was Cut From ‘The House’
Will Ferrell had the nerve to go on Late Night With Seth Meyers and throw a lot of shade at Mariah Carey. The comedian revealed that the legendary diva has been cut from his upcoming movie, The House. “She did not make the final cut,” he said, before alluding to Mimi’s diva-like behavior. “She eventually did show up,” but “there were suggestions that weren’t executed… she was on our set and yeah, things happened. Things happened and didn’t happen.” Will even gave a specific example.
“Let’s put it this way, at about midnight I got a knock on my trailer and [they] said, ‘You can just go home, we’re not going to get to you.'” I’m outraged. Anyone that watched Mariah’s World or browsed the internet in the last decade knows that Mariah is going to do the most. Don’t invite Mimi on set if you’re not prepared for her to be carried around on a chaise-lounge with a flute of bubbly in her hand. Oh, and Will thinks her scenes might end up as DVD extras. Rude.
