They join forces for a mellow, mid-tempo bop called “Hit Me Back,” which is as catchy as it is relatable. What could a 14-year-old social media sensation and a heavily-tattooed rapper possibly have in common? A mutual frustration with the heartbreakers that leave you on read. “What’s up with that? Hit you all day but you never hit me back,” goes the chorus. “What’s up with that? Facetimed you, called — you never hit me back.”
