Iggy Azalea Is Collaborating With Azealia Banks (Possibly Twice)
Iggy Azalea still has no idea when Digital Distortion will be released, but the rapper’s sophomore effort will feature (former) nemesis Azealia Banks. Yes, the collaboration that nobody wanted is actually happening. “I don’t expect you guys to understand why i would collaborate with someone who has publicly said they hope i die,” the “Switch” diva tweeted. “This has been something extremely negative for so long, if there is a way to make it positive and also be creative together, I’m here for it.”
“I think females in rap need to really be unified to prosper,” she continued. “We need more collaborations to happen.” Oh, and Iggy might feature on Azealia’s next release too. “I have a song already I think she would fit well on and she has something I may get on for her project.” The Aussie hitmaker also confirmed that the collaboration won’t be a single. I understand Iggy’s motives, but this whole episode reeks of desperation and won’t do anything to rehabilitate her image. See her announcement and tweets below.
