Brooke Candy's Demented 'Opulence' Video
Brooke Candy's crazy 'Opulence' video will turn you on and give you nightmares.

Brooke Candy lost the plot for a while there with a string of basic bangers, but she’s back to her outrageous best on “Volcano.” Co-written by Sia and Jesse Saint John, the underground queen’s latest is a throwback to the mind-bending fusion of dance and hip-hop that made songs like “Opulence” and “Das Me” cult classics. Only this time around, there’s an undeniable pop sensibility via a massive, sing-along chorus. “The heat is rising, I’m ready to go,” she coos over Cory Enemy’s club-friendly production. “My heart rushes when we’re united, I’m like a volcano.”

Of course, Brooke is first and foremost a visual artist and she comes through with an avant-garde video, which is streaming exclusively via Grindr. (It’s good to know your demo!) The self-directed clip finds the diva wandering along Hollywood Boulevard in a sheer leotard and angel wings, before chilling with Hustler CEO Larry Flynt. She puts on a sexy show and winds up bound on his coffee table. From there, Brooke heads to the strip club and serves a lot of unforgettable looks. “Volcano” is the first taste of an EP due later this summer. Welcome back.
