Jessie J Is Still Alive: Watch Her Sing Along To Lauryn Hill’s “Ex Factor”
Jessie J is still alive and working on her fourth LP. However, the Brit appears to have hit a snag. She recently updated her Facebook page with the cryptic message “impatient af” and then fired off a missive to industry execs via Instagram. “Me singing to the business side of the industry,” the 29-year-old captioned a brief video of her singing along to Lauryn Hill’s “Ex Factor.” If you’re wondering why she is in work-out gear, the pop star is on a fitness kick to be in amazing shape for her 30th birthday.
Earlier this year, Jessie announced that she was working on new music. The diva opened up about the project, which she describes as a return to 2011’s Who You Are, in an interview with Billboard. “With this next lot of music, I’m very much going back to my roots like on my first album, which was very honest,” the “Bang Bang” hitmaker revealed. “From the ages 25-30, you learn so much and grow as a person. You become who you’re going to be for a long time. I’ve also enjoyed the process of just getting back to songwriting on my own.”
