Pia Mia & Jeremih Throw A Party In Sexy “I’m A Fan” Video
Pia Mia reemerged in May with a new look and new single. Produced by Smash David and Remo The Hitmaker, “I’m A Fan” is a slinky bop with a feature from Jeremih. It’s less pop than underrated 2016 single, “Touch,” and not as aggressively catchy as breakthrough hit “Do It Again.” Instead, the 20-year-old’s latest is the kind of groove that takes a couple of listens to sink in, but when it does — you won’t get it out of your head any time soon. “I could tell that you’re a fan,” Pia coos on the chorus. “You’re a fan already.”
The Justin Francis-directed video arrives today (August 2) and it showcases the budding pop star’s unique fashion sense and knack for sexy choreography. There isn’t really a plot to speak of. Pia just parties with her girls and occasionally teams up with Jeremih for a little posing. The real highlight is the throwback choreography, which reminds me of the ’90s when artists like Janet Jackson and Aaliyah knew that the key to any good video was a killer dance routine.
