Lana Del Rey Announces “White Mustang” Video, Thanks Fans For #1 Album
Lana Del Rey narrowly edged out Tyler, The Creator in a tight race for number one on the Billboard 200 with 4th LP, Lust For Life. She filmed a video to celebrate the victory with fans and posted it on social media last night (August 2). “I just wanted to do a quick video saying thank you so much for supporting the record this week,” the dream-pop goddess began. “I’m really, really happy with it and it seems like everybody loves it and that just makes me so happy because I totally put my heart in it.”
The “Love” singer then gave an overview of her upcoming plans and might have casually announced her next single. “I’ve been having a lot of fun at my shows,” Lana mused. “San Diego and Anaheim were crazy, crazy, crazy. San Francisco, I’m about to announce a show up there, so look out for that. In the meantime, I am going overseas to my festivals and I’m also going to do a couple of shows in the UK and also I have a new video coming out for a song off the record called ‘White Mustang’ — another video done by Rich Lee, which I really love.”
Lana signed off by acknowledging her loyal fans. “I see all the support, I really notice it and I’m so grateful.” Watch the video and listen to “White Mustang” below.
