Bebe Rexha Teams Up With Gucci Mane & 2 Chainz On “That’s It”
Bebe Rexha lays down the law on fiery new single, “That’s It.” The catchy bop, which was released last night (August 3), finds the pop star veering into hip-hop territory. “Bitch you lookin’ at the real, ain’t nothin’ on me plastic,” she declares over Murda’s hypnotic beats. “Why so up on my heels? I be stoppin’ traffic. You be lookin’ at my ass, damn that thing Jurassic.” That takes us to the minimalist chorus. “That’s it, that’s it, that’s it, that’s it.” Throw in verses from Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz and you have a hit.
“That’s It” is included on the second half of the rising star’s debut LP, All Your Fault Pt. 2, along with current hit “The Way I Are (Dance With Somebody).” Time will tell if the 27-year-old’s latest is a buzz track or the project’s next official single, but that’s a lot of fire power to waste on a non-promoted song. Also, Bebe has had more chart success with rhythmic/hip-hop bops (“Me, Myself & I” and “Bad Bitch”) than pop songs. So it makes sense from that angle as well. Listen below.
