Demi Lovato throws a star-studded house party in her 'Sorry Not Sorry' video.

Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” is shaping up to be a huge hit. The feisty track has been hanging around the iTunes top 20 since release and is a streaming phenomenon on Spotify. When you factor in the star-studded video and surging radio airplay, it’s only a matter of time before the song beats its current peak of 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. A bubbly remix from Freedo will only help its cause. In fact, I prefer the Swiss DJ’s overhaul to the original. It’s bigger, brighter and a lot more fun.

The producer behind Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life” takes an interesting approach to the remix. Instead of stripping away the vocal and ramping up the BPM like most DJs, he leaves “Sorry Not Sorry” largely intact. In fact, he slows it down so you get a better appreciation of Demi’s vocal and the sassy lyrics. Freedo also adds a drop, a trend that should be played out by now but still works for me. Listen to the bouncy banger below.
