Lady Gaga Announces Netflix Documentary ‘Five Foot Two’

Lost Hit: Lady Gaga's 'Gypsy'
Lady Gaga missed out on a surefire hit with her anthemic 'Artpop' cut 'Gypsy.'

Lady Gaga is giving fans a glimpse behind the mask in a new Netflix documentary called Gaga: Five Foot Two, which premieres on September 22. The pop star shared several teasers from the film on Twitter and unveiled the tripper movie poster on Instagram. From the preview material, it looks like a cross between In Bed With Madonna and Beyonce’s Life Is But A Dream. There is concert and rehearsal footage as well as an intimate moment, which finds the hitmaker struggling with loneliness.

Perhaps the most intriguing snippet, however, takes place at a doctor’s office. The Arthritis magazine cover girl has a consultation about the intense hip pain that caused her to cancel several Born This Way Ball concert dates in 2013. “My injury was actually a lot worse than just a labral tear,” Gaga told Woman’s Wear Daily at the time. “I had broken my hip. Nobody knew, and I haven’t even told the fans yet.” Get a sneak peek of the documentary below.
