Charlie Puth’s “Attention” Gets A David Guetta Remix
Charlie Puth has a late summer smash on his hands with “Attention.” Co-written with Jacob Kasher, the disco-laced bop is the number one song at pop radio and sitting pretty in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. The track is destined to get another surge of momentum courtesy of a new remix from David Guetta. The prolific DJ, who recently remixed Bruno Mars’ “Versace On The Floor” and has a hit of his own with Justin Bieber-assisted banger “2 U,” transforms “Attention” into a bone-rattling floorfiller.
Unlike his “Versace On The Floor” overhaul, this remix isn’t polite radio fodder. Instead, the Frenchman ratchets up the BPM and completely deconstructs the second half of the song. It’s destined to find a lot of love in the clubs and become a festival favorite. While “Attention” still has a lot of life left in it, Charlie must be preparing the second single from sophomore LP, Voice Notes (due fall).
