Tove Lo's NSFW 'Fairy Dust' Video
Tove Lo's 30-minute 'Fairy Dust' video is pitch black and very, very confronting.

Tove Lo winds up the Lady Wood era with a 21-minute visual called “Fire Fade.” Directed by Tim Eren, the emotionally-charged blockbuster serves as a sequel or bookend to NSFW mini-movie, “Fairy Dust.” However, instead of exploring violence and sexuality, this focuses more on mental health and the inner turmoil that rages in all of us. It also has a rather nifty soundtrack, featuring album cuts “Don’t Talk About It,” “Imaginary Friend,” “Keep It Simple,” “Flashes” and “WTF Love Is.”

“[This] is for my fans,” the Swedish diva explains in a press release. “When the fairy dust starts to wear off and you can’t fully reach the highs anymore — though you’re desperately trying to — it’s a struggle with the mind.” To convey that, she spends most of the video literally climbing the walls. “It was also the most physically challenging thing I’ve ever done. I’ve never been in so much pain on a shoot before! But it was worth it and was such a huge thing for me to be able to do for this chapter. Can’t wait for my babes to see it!!”

Pop’s “Cool Girl” also revealed that she is revealing new music very soon, but first Tove has a string of headline tour dates as well as a support slot with Coldplay to complete. Buy tickets here and watch her latest video up top.
