Timbaland On 'Pop Game' & His New Album
We speak to Timbaland about hit TV show 'Pop Game' & his new album.

I never got around to watching ABC’s Boy Band, but I’m starting to think I missed out. The talent show aired its grand finale last night (August 24) and the judges — Emma Bunton, Timbaland and Nick Carter — celebrated by putting on a mega-medley. Needless to say, it was an unholy (but hugely enjoyable) mess. With one exception. We got to see Emma Bunton perform Spice Girls’ classic “Say You’ll Be There” on US TV. In 2017. She escaped with her dignity intact and even threw in a little choreography.

The rest of the participants were not as lucky. Timbaland brought out Rita Ora to perform “The Way I Are” (she would turn up for the opening of a car trunk, so this is a no-brainer), while the bemused audience clapped along. Next up was Emma, followed by The Backstreet Boys. They sounded weary, but I’ll never turn down a chance to watch them belt out “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).” If you like your nostalgia with a healthy serving of cringe, watch up top.

After, after party @boybandabc ❤️❤️❤️
