Now, Now Hits The Desert For Their Hazy “SGL” Video

It’s almost impossible to take a five-year break and bounce back with your fanbase fully intact, but that’s what Now, Now did in the summer. The Minneapolis-based duo returned with “SGL,” a hazy, windows-down indie-pop anthem, and immediately made waves. The track hit the Spotify Top 10 Viral as well as the Global Top 20 chart, racking up 1.5 million streams in the process. They are currently shopping for a label and could be teetering on the brink of their first crossover-pop hit.

What changed during their absence? “I feel more confident and more like myself than I ever have,” singer Cacie Dalager explains in a press release. “Our new songs happened so naturally after we stopped overthinking and started going with our instincts… we learned a lot about each other. More than anything we have learned to trust in ourselves.” That also reflects in the visual, which finds the much-missed duo hanging out in the desert. Watch up top.
