Fifth Harmony's 'Fifth Harmony:' Album Review
Hot or not? We review Fifth Harmony's first album as a quartet.

The ladies of Fifth Harmony are not done promoting their self-titled third studio album just yet. This weekend, they delivered a bold performance that potentially shaded former member Camila Cabello at the Video Music Awards, and today (August 29), they took over Good Morning America to perform the LP’s electrifying second single “He Like That.” This is the first time that they’ve performed the tropical bop, and they pulled out some choreography to bring the sexy lyrics to life. After the dramatic costumes and high impact stunts that characterized their performance this weekend, their effort this morning seems a little stripped back, but the simple staging allowed their vocals to shine and provided a more intimate moment for the girl group.

In an interview before their performance the “That’s My Girl” hitmakers reflected on their performance at the VMAs, particularly the moment when a fifth member dropped off stage in an act that was taken as symbolic shade towards their former bandmate. “We get asked all the time if we’re getting a fifth member, and we wanted to show the world in an artistic way that, ‘Hey the four of us are Fifth Harmony. And we’re stronger and better than we’ve ever been,'” Ally explained of the move. Earlier that night the ladies picked up a Moon Person of their own for their music video “Down,” which is further proof that they’re here to stay. Watch their debut performance of the single below.
