The Drop: Annabel Jones & TYSM
Your guide to New Music Friday featuring Annabel Jones and TYSM.

TYSM is shaping up to be one of 2017’s breakout artists courtesy of viral hit “Honeymoon Phase,” which has already racked up 14.8 million streams. The charmingly offbeat banger was produced by Felix Snow and, from the distorted vocals to the splintered synths, his fingerprints are all over it. However, the Seguin, Texas singer imbues the song with a warmth and softness that is inherently her own. It’s a winning combination that comes to life in the candy-colored, casually surreal video.

“[Director] Clare Gillen brought my vision for this video to life,” TYSM says of the visual. “It was an unforgettable experience and I am so grateful to everyone involved. We crafted a world of beautiful imagery with no sense of time or reality – it really felt that way. I wanted to create something that made you sit back and think ‘what is this, what exactly am I watching?'” Mission accomplished. The video is as twisted and compelling as the song itself. We’re excited to premiere the clip below.
